Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 6 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in water resources engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong knowledge of dam safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for multidisciplinary civil and geotechnical projects (dams, levees, hydropower).
• Coordinate design integration across disciplines to deliver compliant, high-quality plans, specifications and basis of design reports.
• Lead due diligence, site investigations, risk assessments, remediation and environmental permitting activities.
• Plan, design, evaluate and rehabilitate earth and concrete dams, levees, spillways, foundations, slopes and seepage control.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to dam safety guidelines across large-scale projects.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical analyses, calculations, drawings, and visualizations communicating subsurface conditions and design concepts.
