Emergent Hiring is partnering with a longstanding civil engineering firm in Cary in their search for a Senior Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers to establish project goals and deadlines.
• Plan, design, and construction oversight of a variety of utility water and wastewater projects for municipal, industrial, and private clients.
• Develop exhibits, construction drawings and specifications for projects.
• Perform basic engineering calculations.
• Interact directly with public and private clients.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a directly related field.
• A demonstrated interest in land development, water resources, or environmental engineering.
• Professional experience using either AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or a similar design program.
• Ability to meet project deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional work experience in land development, water resources or environmental engineering are desirable.
• You must have a PE license, or will get one soon.
