Actalent is seeking a Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) for contract-to-hire opportunities in Olathe, KS. The role focuses on land development, stormwater design, and roadway/site infrastructure, with hands-on modeling and collaboration with CAD and survey teams.

The position offers a clear path toward project management and ownership for motivated staff, with standard office hours and in-office collaboration to support project success and timely delivery.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• 25 years of engineering experience in land development.
• Experience with stormwater design, including hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Ability to communicate design intent to team and external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design roadways, site, grading, and utility plans under lead engineers.
• Prepare sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and waterline designs for land development projects.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater design.
• Develop earthwork quantities and related civil engineering designs.
• Prepare detailed construction plans and specifications for civil infrastructure.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external authorities.
