Kimley-Horn's Eden Prairie, Minnesota office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join their Land Development team. This role involves site development engineering and project management for a variety of projects, with mentorship and training.

Responsibilities include site civil design, permitting, hydrology modeling, AutoCAD and Civil 3D, plus coordination, cost estimating, and client interactions. Salary range is $85,000-$95,000 with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in civil engineering design
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management for diverse projects
• Complete site civil design, permitting, and use hydrology modeling and storm drainage programs
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design work
• Coordinate, estimate costs, prepare bid packages, and support client interactions
• Receive mentorship and training while contributing to plan production and project financials
