Job summary

Civil & Survey, LLC is seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT) with 2 to 5 years of site design, land development, or roadway design experience. You will work directly with a licensed senior civil engineer to design small to mid-size site development projects, perform calculations, and prepare construction plans and supporting documents.

Location: Shrewsbury, MO; in-office with potential for hybrid work. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $95,000 per year, depending on experience, with visa sponsorship

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of Civil Engineering site design/land development experience.
• EIT certification with active progress toward PE licensure.
• Experience with grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site layouts, grading and drainage plans, roadway and utility designs, and erosion and sediment control plans.
• Perform engineering calculations and hydrologic/hydraulic analyses; prepare drainage reports and supporting design documentation.
• Develop and revise coordinated construction drawings using survey, topographic, utility, and other project information.
• Research and apply design criteria, local standards, and permitting requirements; prepare permit submissions and address agency comments.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimates.
• Coordinate work with project engineers, surveyors, landscape Architects, and agencies; serve as day-to-day contact on projects.
• Participate in site visits and construction observation as needed.
