Qualifications

• EIT certification.
• 27 years of civil engineering experience, with at least 25 years directly related to land development and site design.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD for civil site design, drafting, and drawings.
• Experience with NPDES requirements and stormwater design for civil site projects.
• Hands‑on experience with land development projects and construction documentation.
• Experience preparing and processing permits for land development and civil projects.
• Experience working with municipalities on approvals, reviews, and public infrastructure.
• Experience participating in or supporting public meetings related to development projects.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related discipline.
• Ability to support project engineering and project management tasks including coordination and communication.
• Strong understanding of site layout, grading, drainage, and related civil design principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil site designs using Civil 3D/AutoCAD for land development and transportation sites.
• Perform stormwater design calculations and ensure NPDES compliance.
• Assist with civil construction plans including grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout.
• Coordinate permit applications with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in public meetings to communicate designs and respond to questions.
• Collaborate with municipalities on reviews, approvals, and public infrastructure coordination.
• Contribute to project tasks like cost estimates, schedules, and design documentation.
• Support project management activities including tracking progress and client communications.
• Work with team members to ensure accuracy and constructibility of drawings.
• Review and refine civil CAD drawings to meet standards and codes.
• Assist in design coordination for various site development projects.
• Contribute to transportation-related tasks such as site access and circulation.
