Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a civil drafting/design professional to create and modify civil design drawings for infrastructure and building projects, in a BIM-enabled environment. You will develop Civil 3D models and sheet sets, and coordinate CAD with civil, structural, architectural and MEP teams during design reviews.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to deliver construction documents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil drafting/design experience for infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience producing plans, profiles, sections, and construction drawings.
• Ability to develop efficient drafting and modeling methods.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience working with Revit and BIM environments.
• Industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, energy, or large campus project experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify civil design drawings, plans, profiles, sections, and details.
• Develop and manage Civil 3D models and sheet sets.
• Coordinate CAD models with civil, structural, architectural, and MEP teams.
• Collaborate with BIM/CAD teams to maintain design standards.
• Support custom CAD content creation and design tool development.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of models and construction documents.
• Participate in 30%, 60%, and 90% design reviews with stakeholders.
