Job summary

HDR, based in Colorado, seeks an experienced CAD/BIM designer to support water and wastewater projects. You will create design and construction drawings under supervision, using AutoCAD Civil3D and Revit, coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold a technical degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in the field and strong communication skills. This full-time, on-site role offers competitive benefits and opportunities to contribute to meaningful infrastructure

Qualifications

Technical degree or equivalent education or experience.
Minimum 5 years in related industry.
Advanced 3D design software skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Create design and construction drawings under guidance from Project Engineer/Manager.
Perform routine CAD/BIM tasks per standards and drafting conventions.
Develop initial layouts for water/wastewater and site civil plans.
Assemble plan sets and coordinate with multiple disciplines.
Learn and apply project/drafting standards to drawings.
Independently perform redline revisions and develop drawings from sketches.
Perform basic quantity and geometry calculations.
