Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil CAD/design experience.
• Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills.
• Experience preparing civil construction plans.
• Background in land development, site development, or drainage design.
• Ability to work independently with limited training and contribute quickly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop engineering construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Assist engineers and project managers with design of land development, site development, drainage, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Work from architectural plans, survey files, sketches, notes, and other project information to develop detailed construction drawings.
• Create and maintain Civil 3D surfaces, pipe networks, plan and profile sheets, and other design components.
• Follow CAD standards, including layers, line types, text styles, and drafting procedures.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Communicate project progress, design questions, and potential issues with Project Managers.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers throughout the design process.
