Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor civil design staff through project phases.
• Develop practical, efficient and constructable solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on concepts, plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with public agencies, clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Navigate permitting, land use, and stormwater regulations.
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and quality expectations.
• Utilize industry software to design grading, drainage, stormwater, water, and sewer infrastructure.
• Support construction administration and respond to contractor questions.
• Contribute to business development: proposals, interviews, presentations, budgeting.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
