Bohler Engineering Group in Philadelphia seeks a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead site design, grading, utilities, and permitting across major projects in the Greater Philadelphia area.

You’ll own technical design challenges, guide junior staff, and collaborate with clients and regulators to ensure quality, constructability, and compliance from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5+ years of land development design and permitting experience.
• PE license beneficial; EIT required or in progress.

Responsabilités

• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.
• Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review design deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

About the Role

Bohler’s Philadelphia office is seeking aSenior Civil Design Engineerwho’s ready to take the next step in technical leadership. In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in all aspects of site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting, while helping ensure design quality, constructability, and compliance. You’ll serve as a trusted technical resource for your team and contribute to the success of complex, high-profile projects across the Greater Philadelphia Metro area.

What You’ll Do

• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
• 5+ years of experience in land development design and permitting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
• Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and construction requirements.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• PE license beneficial; EIT required or in progress.
