Bohler's Warren, NJ office is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to own design challenges across the Greater New York/New Jersey Metro area. You will lead site design, grading, utilities, stormwater, and permitting while ensuring quality and compliance.

You'll collaborate with engineers and project leaders, provide technical guidance, and contribute to high-profile projects with a strong emphasis on constructability and mentorship.

Formación

• Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering (or related).
• 5+ years in land development design and permitting.
• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software knowledge.

In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in all aspects of site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting, while helping ensure design quality, constructability, and compliance. You’ll serve as a trusted technical resource for your team and contribute to the success of complex, high-profile projects across the Greater New York/New Jersey Metro area.

What You’ll Do

• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.
• Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
• Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software.
• Contribute to project budgeting, workload planning, and task coordination.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
• 5+ years of experience in land development design and permitting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
• Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and construction requirements.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• PE license beneficial; EIT required or in progress.
