Job summary

Morgan Corp. is seeking a Civil Construction Manager to lead large-scale heavy civil projects across the southeastern United States. Based in Raleigh, NC, you will oversee field operations, coordinate crews, manage safety and quality, and drive project delivery on time and within budget.

You will guide Senior Superintendents and foremen, maintain stakeholder relationships, and ensure adherence to design specifications while traveling to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of progressive heavy civil construction experience at supervisory levels (Superintendent or higher).
• Experience leading large-scale civil projects including earthwork, utilities, site development, and transportation infrastructure.
• Experience leading multiple Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and large field crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for large-scale heavy civil projects.
• Direct Senior Superintendents, Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
• Manage safety, quality, schedule, cost, and workforce planning.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to meet milestones.
• Represent owners, engineers, inspectors, and stakeholders in the field.
• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, and safety programs.
• Establish productivity goals and monitor performance metrics.
• Drive safety culture and OSHA compliance.
• Identify and resolve field challenges related to production and logistics.
• Participate in hiring, workforce planning, and leadership development.
• Support preconstruction and startup activities through constructability reviews.
• Travel to project sites across the Southeast as needed.
