Job summary

Morgan Corp. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Civil Construction Manager to lead large-scale heavy civil projects across the southeastern United States.

You will supervise field operations, coordinate with owners, engineers, and subcontractors, and drive safe, on-time, within-budget project delivery from initiation to completion. The role requires 10+ years of progressive heavy civil experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage budgets, production, and safety programs while building

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive heavy civil construction experience with leadership at Superintendent level or higher.
• Experience leading large-scale civil projects: earthwork, utilities, site development, drainage, transportation, water resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all field operations for large-scale heavy civil projects.
• Direct Senior Superintendents, Superintendents, Foremen and field personnel.
• Manage safety, quality, schedule, production, cost control, equipment utilization, and workforce planning.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to meet milestones and optimize efficiency.
• Represent the project with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review plans, specs, schedules, and contracts to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Establish productivity goals and monitor performance to maintain schedule and budget.
• Drive safety culture with OSHA compliance and site-specific programs.
• Resolve field challenges related to production, logistics, and manpower.
• Participate in hiring, workforce planning, and leadership development.
• Support preconstruction and startup with constructability reviews and resource planning.
• Travel to project sites across the southeastern United States.
