Job summary

Morgan Corp. is seeking a Civil Construction Manager based in Charlotte, NC to lead major heavy civil projects across the southeastern United States. You will manage field operations, supervise Senior Superintendents and crews, and ensure safety, quality, and budget objectives are met.

The role requires extensive experience in mass earthwork, underground utilities, site development, and transportation infrastructure, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of progressive heavy civil construction experience with leadership at superintendent levels.
• Experience with mass earthwork, underground utilities, site development, transportation infrastructure, and water resources.
• Proven track record delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all field operations for large-scale heavy civil construction projects.
• Direct Senior Superintendents, Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
• Manage safety, quality, schedule, production, cost, and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to meet milestones.
• Represent owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders in the field.
• Review plans, specifications, schedules, and contracts for compliance.
• Set productivity goals, monitor metrics, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive a culture of safety excellence and OSHA compliance.
• Recruit, coach, and develop field leadership personnel.
• Support preconstruction and startup through constructability reviews and resource planning.
• Travel to project sites across the southeastern United States.
