Job summary

Morgan Corp. in Raleigh, NC seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction from planning through completion.

You will develop scope, budget, and schedule, oversee design, estimating, quality control, and field operations, and ensure clear documentation and communications with stakeholders. Responsibilities include preconstruction activities, managing multiple projects, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, monitoring costs and progress, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in heavy civil/infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel and flexible work schedule, including weekends as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CM software; read plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Manage small- to mid-sized projects end-to-end.
• Oversee design, estimating, quality control, and construction operations.
• Perform preconstruction activities, including estimates and subcontractor solicitations.
• Attend and lead job, preconstruction, and staff meetings.
• Report project status, manage schedules, and coordinate with clients and contractors.
• Monitor costs, productivity, and change orders; implement corrective actions.
