HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Construction Inspector to oversee and document field observations on civil infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and water facilities.

This role includes mentoring junior staff and coordinating with project managers to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. The Senior Inspector will read plans, identify discrepancies, and serve as the lead on projects as needed, while maintaining adherence to safety and quality standards in a dynamic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass drug screening and ongoing testing.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsabilités

• Conduct and document observations of construction progress for civil projects (roads, bridges, water/wastewater, pump stations, pipelines).
• Mentor junior field staff and provide supervision as needed.
• Collaborate with other field representatives or Project Managers.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies.
• Serve as the most senior inspector on projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
