Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in civil design and drafting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• Experience with CAD drafting standards and plan development.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards.
• Develop technical drawings and plans.
• Make and quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity; perform some calculations.
• Require minimal supervision for daily tasks.
• Apply engineering principles and suggest design changes.
• Maintain drawing database.
• Supervise and train CAD staff.
• Coordinate work activities to meet schedules and ensure quality.
• Familiarize yourself with Kimley-Horn practices, procedures, and standards.
