Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Nashville office seeks a Civil Design Technician with 15+ years of experience to join the Development Services team. You will implement drafting standards, develop technical drawings, and ensure quality control on complex projects.

You will supervise CAD staff, mentor junior designers, and coordinate activities to align with project schedules and Kimley-Horn’s procedures, benefiting from a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of civil design experience.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D or Bentley products.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards.
• Develop technical drawings and plans.
• Quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity.
• Supervise and train CAD staff.
• Coordinate work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control.
• Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.
