Job summary

BKV Group is seeking a Senior Project Architect or Project Manager I to lead Civic Government projects in the Dallas area. The role requires guiding project scope, budget, and team performance, with responsibility for design, documentation, and construction administration.

Experience leading teams of architects and designers is essential, along with Civics project expertise. The candidate should be licensed, with 12-15+ years in the field, proficient in Revit and MS Office, and capable of

Qualifications

• Licensed and registered Architect preferred.
• 12-15+ years’ related experience in the Civic Government sector.
• Must be proficient in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certification or experience in sustainable building design a plus.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: manage scope, schedule, and design team budgets.
• Staffing / Scheduling: assign staff and coordinate with leaders across sites.
• Design / Documentation / CA: lead design and documentation, coordinate with design leaders, and oversee on-site observation during construction.
• Mentoring / Training / Developing: mentor architectural staff and advise leadership on training opportunities.
• Marketing / Business Development: support civic practice growth and client relationships.
