Job summary

Waterfield Tech seeks a Senior Telephony Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize Cisco Unified Communications and Contact Center solutions for enterprise clients. You will lead technical assessments, define architecture, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver resilient telephony deployments.

The role requires deep expertise in CUCM, Unity, UCCX/UCCE, Webex Calling, and security considerations, with a track record of delivering Day 1 deployments and Day 2 support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a Solutions Architect or similar role focused on Cisco UC on-premises and cloud telephony systems.
• Experience with CUCM, Unity, UCCX/UCCE, and Cisco UC stack is required.
• Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, PBX, and Unified Communications.
• Strong network, security, and performance optimization skills as they relate to telephony.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, upgrade, and expansion of Cisco telephony and contact center solutions across the portfolio.
• Provide hybrid overflow and on-call support to Managed Services as needed.
• Collaborate with network engineers, software developers, security experts, and project managers.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
