Job summary

CDW is seeking a Telephony Engineer to maintain, administer, and optimize our VoIP infrastructure, collaboration platforms and services. You will work with Cisco voice platforms such as CUCM, Unity, UCCX, CUBE, Jabber, WebEx, and video conferencing to ensure reliable communications across the enterprise.

In this role you will manage operations, implement solutions, mentor junior engineers, participate in change control, and develop business continuity plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications or related field, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3+ years' experience in software/hardware voice/video network design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations, installation, and maintenance for local, off-site, and remote locations.
• Ensure uninterrupted access to CDW voice and video platforms.
• Analyze, evaluate, and maintain telecommunications and video systems.
• Implement and test telecommunications software solutions.
• Provide customer training of features and functionality.
• Lead complex telephony issues and coordinate with vendors for outages.
• Develop and test the Business Continuity Plan for telephony platforms.
