Job summary

MedWiz of New Jersey LLC is seeking a Lead CIC Pharmacist to oversee daily Clinical Intervention Center operations and staff in New Jersey. You will ensure timely medication therapy management, mentor CIC pharmacists, and optimize workflow across multiple pharmacies.

You will review clinical clarifications, validate prescription changes, and coordinate with centers and prescribers to maintain high-quality patient care. Strong leadership and LTC experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy with active state license.
• 1–3 years of pharmaceutical experience; long-term care pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret medication documentation and communicate with centers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CIC Pharmacist operations and workflow.
• Mentor CIC pharmacists and assist with onboarding and training.
• Monitor clinical clarifications using eMAR and dispensing history; coordinate with centers.
• Review change in prescription suggestions and therapeutic interchanges for non-auto TI states.
• Communicate backorder issues and determine alternatives; respond to requests and follow-ups.
• Support PIC/Director in identifying performance trends and process improvements.
