AtlantiCare is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge for full-time work at our New Jersey location. The role requires licensing as a Registered Pharmacist in New Jersey, NJBOP Pharmacist-In-Charge certification, and a strong operational pharmacy background with regulatory acumen.

The PIC will monitor daily workflows, ensure compliance with all applicable laws, lead staff scheduling, and collaborate with operations leadership to maintain high-quality care and safety across the pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree from accredited school of pharmacy required.
• Experience: Strong operational pharmacy background and knowledge of regulations (USP, NJBOP, NJ DOH, Joint Commission, CMS, DEA).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee the day-to-day workflow of the assigned pharmacy location, ensuring efficiency and consistency in service delivery.
• Staff scheduling and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with operation leadership to optimize delivery of care and improve pharmacy services.
• Ensure all staff comply with federal, state, and local laws while practicing, supporting compliance audits and correcting deficiencies.
• Demonstrate department-specific competencies as listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
