Job summary

Datadog is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our CI/CD Security Team within the SDLC Security organization. You will help shape and build a new security layer for our CI/CD pipelines, focusing on trusted provenance, secure secret delivery, and real-time policy enforcement at scale.

You will work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, collaborate across platform and developer experience teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience building high-throughput, secure CI/CD systems.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Python, Rust, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design and build highly performant infrastructure in the CI/CD critical path.
• Drive trusted build provenance and real-time policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with platform, infra, and developer experience teams to enable secure workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in incident response efforts.
• Contribute to security controls that scale with Datadog's growth.
