Datadog is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the CI/CD Security Team within our SDLC Security organization. You will help build a new security layer for our CI/CD infrastructure, focusing on trusted build provenance, secure secret delivery, and real-time policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• Experience building reliable, high-throughput systems in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD architecture and security boundaries in software delivery.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized infrastructure.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve velocity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and build highly performant infrastructure in the CI/CD path.
• Drive technical roadmap for trusted build provenance and secure secret access.
• Collaborate with platform, infra, and developer-experience teams to enable secure workflows.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate engineering, debugging, testing, and analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in incident response.
• Improve the security and integrity of the software supply chain at scale.
• Ensure security guarantees align with low latency and reliability requirements.
