Datadog is seeking a Platform Security Engineer to secure our scalable cloud platform across infrastructure and applications. You will partner with multiple teams to implement secure-by-design patterns and reduce systemic risks.

The role emphasizes hands-on security across multi-cloud Kubernetes environments, with a focus on securing authentication, authorization, and deployment mechanisms, while enabling engineers to ship secure solutions rapidly.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Desire to implement solutions, not just advise.
• Passionate about solving security problems at scale in multi-cloud Kubernetes environments.
• Experience securing enterprise SaaS apps, including APIs and auth flows.
• Experience securing deployment and management mechanisms for infra changes.

Responsibilities

• Solve cloud infrastructure and app security problems on core platform building blocks.
• Enable engineers to build and ship secure solutions quickly.
• Build and extend Datadog’s Platform Security offerings.
• Influence product direction to secure infra and provide internal feedback.
