Job summary

NetApp is seeking a Software Engineer 4 to join our Platform Engineering team with a focus on CI/CD, developer productivity, and scalable platforms. You will design, build, and operate enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines that help engineering teams automate testing, security checks, and deployments across cloud environments.

You will mentor engineers, drive engineering standards, and collaborate with SRE, security, QA, and platform teams to raise release velocity and software quality.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in Software Eng, DevOps, Platform Eng, CI/CD roles.
• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale CI/CD platforms.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and engineering best practices.
• Strong background in cloud-native and distributed systems.
• Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.
• Design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams.
• Automate build, test, release, and provisioning workflows.
• Improve developer productivity via self-service automation.
• Embed security, compliance, and governance in CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate across teams to improve quality and velocity.
• Experience with Git workflows and code reviews.
