Job summary

Gentry Service Group in Western North Carolina seeks a Senior Chiller Service Technician to maintain and service complex commercial HVAC systems. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on centrifugal and screw chillers along with related hydronic, steam, chilled water, DX, and air-handling systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with centrifugal and screw chillers.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on chillers.
• Experience with tear-downs, rebuilds, and rigging.
• Documented factory training on chillers and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and PPE usage.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain centrifugal and screw chillers and related HVACR equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Tear down, rebuild, and rig equipment safely.
• Use precision measuring tools and follow proper rigging techniques.
