Qualifications

• MSW or MS/MA in a related human service field and 2-3 years post-master’s experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, knowledge of Connections.
• Knowledge of child welfare and related legislation.
• Familiarity with family court procedures.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weekly supervision of assigned staff, including direction and mentoring.
• Ensure rigorous organizational compliance with ACS and NYS DSS regulations.
• Oversee case planning workflows to achieve permanency goals.
• Monthly review of progress notes and casework contacts for each caseload.
• Attend unit meetings and in-service trainings; handle emergencies as needed.
