Job summary

Rising Ground, Inc. in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Clinical Supervisor for the CASAC Team to oversee clinicians and drive substance use screening, assessments, and referrals within the child welfare framework.

The role requires CASAC-Advance credentials and documented supervision experience, with involvement in ACS partnerships and after-hours coverage. You will supervise CASAC clinicians across Brooklyn ACS offices, ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, and contribute to program quality, while

Qualifications

• Valid CASAC-Advance credential.
• 30 hours of OASAS-approved Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II training.
• Experience with evidence-based models such as motivational interviewing and multiple substance use screening measures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee substance use screening, assessment, and referral services with timely engagement and documentation.
• Provide consistent supervision, case consultation, coaching, and performance evaluations for CASAC clinicians.
• Ensure clinicians use evidence-based approaches in assessments and recovery support.
• Conduct substance use assessments with clinical interviews and standardized tools.
• Coordinate referrals with the Access and Referral Department and provide warm handoffs.
• Inform CPS decision-making by identifying safety concerns and explaining substance use dynamics.
• Educate CPS staff on trends, treatment options, and best practices.
• Participate in internal and external meetings with ACS and partners.
• Provide after-hours consultation coverage as needed.
• Support quality improvement, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
