Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee each caseworker’s placement reviews, guidance, and ongoing service planning.
• Ensure all case documents, plans, and assessments meet State, Federal, and agency requirements.
• Review and schedule petitions, forms, and casework meetings with legal representatives.
• Coordinate case management and counseling services for children, youth, and families facing crises.
• Supervise the review of suspected child abuse or neglect cases.
• Meet with community partners to align services with the needs of children and youth.
