Job summary

Pike County Children & Youth Services in Pennsylvania is seeking a Caseworker Supervisor to supervise caseworkers and guide the full range of child welfare responsibilities in accordance with state and federal rules, agency policies, and required timelines.

Responsibilities include case supervision, compliance oversight, court preparation, family support, investigation monitoring, and program coordination, with a standard 8:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule, no telework, and occasional after-hours on-call.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in public or private social work.
• Bachelor's degree with major coursework in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences; or an equivalent combination including 12 college credits.

Responsibilities

• Case supervision: oversee placement reviews, guidance, and ongoing service planning.
• Compliance oversight: ensure all case documents, plans, and assessments meet requirements.
• Court preparation: review and schedule petitions, forms, and casework meetings with legal representatives.
• Family support: coordinate case management and counseling services for children, youth, and families.
• Investigation monitoring: supervise review of suspected child abuse or neglect cases.
• Program coordination: meet with community partners to align services with needs.
