Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Washington County Children and Youth invites applicants for County Casework Supervisor to guide daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure timely and effective services for children and families. You will lead casework, coordinate activities, and collaborate with partner agencies while upholding laws and agency procedures.

This full-time role includes on-call duties and a schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications

Two years of professional experience in public or private social work.
Bachelor's degree with major coursework in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.
Equivalent combination of experience and education with 12 college credits in related social sciences.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and review casework activities to support consistent service delivery.
Direct work assignments, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with agency standards.
Review documents, prepare reports, and assist with required filings and hearings.
Help caseworkers build skills through coaching, workshops, and performance review input.
Collaborate with partner agencies to support child and family services.
Ensure practices align with laws, regulations, and agency procedures.
