Job summary

SpaceXSI is hiring an on-site Supervisor, Child Safety in Austin, TX to lead a team responsible for safeguarding minors across X, Grok, and X Money platforms. The role focuses on escalations, policy enforcement, and data-driven improvements in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with Legal, Policy, HR, and other Safety teams while championing automation and classifier improvements. This position requires steady leadership and a passion for protecting users at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in online child safety, Trust & Safety operations, or related field.
• 2+ years leading or supervising a team.
• Experience identifying CSAM, CSE and related child safety areas with legal obligations knowledge.
• Proven crisis/escalation management skills.
• Strong data analysis with SQL/Python and LLMs for policy improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Austin-based Child Safety team across shifts with consistency and SLAs.
• Act as escalation layer for complex, urgent, high-profile cases with legal and law enforcement coordination.
• Own NCMEC reporting decisions; document decisions and advise leadership.
• Drive automation-first improvements; calibrate classifiers and turn findings into policy improvements.
• Manage dashboards and KPIs; monitor backlog and escalation queues in real time.
• Provide coaching and professional development to build child safety subject matter experts.
• Ensure on-site operations in Austin, TX and collaborate with global teams.
