Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking a Supervisor, Child Safety to lead the Austin-based analyst team responsible for safeguarding minors across X, Grok and X Money products. The role includes hands-on escalations, improving decision defensibility, and coordinating with Safety leadership, Legal, and law enforcement on high-profile cases.

You will steer the transition to Automation First, calibrate classifiers, and oversee audits, ensuring high-quality data and compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in online child safety or trust & safety operations, incl. 2+ years leading or supervising a team.
• Proven expertise in identifying CSAM/CSE and reporting obligations (NCMEC).
• Strong data analysis using SQL/Python to extract insights and improve enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Austin-based Child Safety team across shifts with consistent standards and SLAs.
• Escalation layer for high-profile cases, coordinating with Legal, policy, and law enforcement.
• Own NCMEC reporting decisions and ensure decisions are well-documented and compliant.
• Drive automation-first initiatives, classifiers calibration, and audits.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs; monitor backlog and escalation queues.
