Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking an experienced leader to head the Austin-based Child Safety team. You will oversee analysts across X and Grok, ensuring consistent incident handling and timely escalation in alignment with SLAs.

You will own NCMEC reporting decisions, document outcomes, and collaborate with Legal, Policy, and Engineering to improve safety workflows while preserving free speech principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Austin based Child Safety team, a team of analysts covering X and Grok with consistent standards across shifts and SLAs.
• Act as the escalation layer for Child Safety with hands-on handling of complex, urgent, high-profile cases including high-profile accounts and escalations from law enforcement and legal teams.
• Own NCMEC reporting decisions for the team; ensure reports and suspensions are accurate and documented and know when to escalate to Legal.
• Provide thoughtful recommendations to leadership on escalations while balancing minors protection with free speech principles.
