Responsibilities

• Ensure the vessel meets all regulatory requirements set forth by applicable ABS, USCG regulations, rules, and CFRs.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings and safety walkthroughs with staff, promoting proactive safety-reporting tools.
• Maintain clean and safe work environments for staff during operations and assigned tasks.
• Maintain daily engine-room logs, oil record books, LOTO logs; monitor critical equipment operating parameters and daily fluid levels.
• Assist Maintenance Management and Shipyard teams to identify work and plan for maintenance periods/shipyard events.
