Qualifications require a USCG license as a third assistant engineer or a DDE4,000 HP endorsement, and a valid TWIC or the ability to obtain one within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Licensed with the USCG as a third assistant engineer or greater or possess a DDE4,000 HP endorsement.
• In possession of a valid TWIC or ability to acquire one within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair diesel and gas engines on marine vessels.
• Monitor all operating propulsion machinery and electrical generating facilities.
• Inspect, adjust, and maintain machinery per safety standards.
