Placements24 seeks a seasoned Chemical Engineer to lead project execution from detailed design to commissioning in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and multidisciplinary coordination to deliver projects safely and within quality standards.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in chemical project engineering, strong PM skills, and familiarity with P&IDs and process design packages. PMP is a plus; relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of experience in chemical project engineering with emphasis on execution and management.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of chemical engineering projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Develop project documentation: plans, risk assessments, progress reports.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the lifecycle.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
