Qualifications

• Completed operator training program or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safe and efficient operation of chemical process equipment.
• Completion of 120 hours of on-the-job training within the first 90 days.
• RCRA General Awareness training completed within six months; annual refresh.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical processing equipment per procedures.
• Set up and operate processes safely and efficiently.
• Inspect equipment for defects and malfunctions.
• Monitor and record reactions, readings, and production data.
• Supervise shift personnel and coordinate activities.
• Train staff on process setup and safe operation.
• Draw samples and test to verify specifications.
• Perform maintenance and repair within skill level.
