Confidential Careers is seeking a Chemical Operator to safely operate a range of chemical processing equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will load materials, adjust controls, monitor reactions, and maintain logs to ensure product quality and process efficiency.

The role requires completion of an operator training program or equivalent, with on-the-job and PCC/RCRA training within specified timeframes. Overtime flexibility and safe work practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Operator training program or equivalent prior experience is required.
• 120 hours of on-the-job training within the first 90 days of employment is required.
• Completion of PCC Classroom Training for RCRA General Awareness within six months of employment is required.
• Recurring RCRA General Awareness training must be completed annually.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of chemical processing equipment.
• Load and unload raw materials, intermediates, and finished products into and out of process equipment.
• Set up, operate, and adjust indicating and controlling devices to maintain proper process conditions.
• Monitor and record chemical reactions and changes in properties and composition.
• Maintain accurate logs of gauge readings, shift production, and equipment malfunctions.
• Draw product samples and perform tests to verify product specifications.
• Identify equipment or process issues and recommend improvements to production methods.
