Job summary

Vantage Specialty Chemicals is looking for a Production Operation Technician to perform independently and safely all required production operations. The role involves handling hazardous materials, material staging, drum labeling, and packaging documentation while adhering to SOPs and PPE requirements.

Essential duties include operating process equipment, maintaining safety and environmental rules, completing weekly safety audits, and supporting maintenance and training activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months’ experience in an industrial facility preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control chemical process equipment safely per SOPs.
• Maintain safe operating environment and enforce safety rules.
• Complete weekly safety audits (4 per month) including safety initiatives.
• Handle material transfers, labeling, and packaging documentation.
• Maintain inventory control and logbook documentation.
• Assist with maintenance readiness and equipment setup.
