Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering or related technical field.
5 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing setting.
Experience with ISO 9100, Hazwoper, safety, and environmental regulations.
Experience leading autonomous teams
Lean manufacturing experience
Knowledge of LSS Green Belt topics

Responsibilities

Supervise all operators and team leads on shift
Implement production plan and flex labor to meet on time delivery goals and efficiency targets
Promote safety and achieve a safety culture within the chemical plant team
Review industrial risks and ensure all employees are knowledgeable of their areas of responsibility
Meet all regulatory and compliance requirements for safety, health and environmental
Promote involvement in the autonomous team to highlight production and quality issues
Monitor the team’s hourly production and make changes as necessary to meet or exceed
