Job summary
DSJ Global is seeking a Process Manager to lead chemical production operations in the Northeastern United States. The role emphasizes safety, process improvements, and building high-performing technical teams to scale manufacturing performance.
You will oversee batch and/or continuous processing, drive productivity, and manage project portfolios while ensuring quality and regulatory adherence. Strong leadership and advanced chemical engineering knowledge are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
- Experience leading chemical manufacturing operations or process engineering functions.
- Strong knowledge of batch and/or continuous chemical processing, process safety, reaction kinetics, mixing, and heat transfer.
- Hands-on experience with process troubleshooting and operational improvements.
- Experience with control systems, automation platforms, and manufacturing software is desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily chemical manufacturing operations with safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Develop and coach engineers and operators through mentorship and performance management.
- Drive process optimization initiatives focused on productivity, reliability, quality, and sustainability.
- Oversee batch production, process documentation, and quality management systems.
- Perform technical analysis including material balances, troubleshooting, and performance reviews.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, and process modifications per safety standards.
- Collaborate across functions to meet production goals and customer commitments.
- Participate in customer-facing activities and project portfolio planning when needed.
