Job summary

CapstoneONE Search is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer for its metro Nashville, TN facility to develop, scale-up and implement new manufacturing processes. The role collaborates with Operations, Engineering and other technical teams to move processes from development into production while supporting performance and safety.

The candidate will lead process safety reviews, contribute to capital projects, and maintain process documentation in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of process or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience in a continuous-process manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with process controls and P&IDs preferred.
• Hands-on problem-solving in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Support development, scale-up and implementation of new manufacturing capabilities.
• Support day-to-day operations with focus on safety, quality, reliability, throughput and cost.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze process data and pursue continuous improvement.
• Assist with capital projects, equipment modifications, installation, commissioning and startup.
• Develop and maintain process documentation including P&IDs, operating procedures and standards.
• Participate in process safety reviews and risk assessments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering teams.
