Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with supplier engineering teams and internal Engineering, Procurement, and Quality to complete process approvals, evaluate changes, and resolve technical variations.
  • Manage approval schedules and resources to ensure timely, rigorous, and compliant qualifications of aerospace manufacturing processes.
  • Review and validate process operation sheets, process monitoring methods, NDE techniques, and destructive metallurgical testing results.
  • Analyze and document process performance, prepare technical reports, and develop standard work to strengthen manufacturing consistency.

What You Will Do:

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Technical Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, engineering, manufacturing, materials, or aerospace functions.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Broad knowledge of materials and processes used in gas turbine engine manufacturing.
  • Experience with machining and special processes particularly welding and brazing.
  • Familiarity with Pratt & Whitney design, manufacturing, and quality systems and ESA processes.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
