Honeywell is seeking a Principal Chemical Engineer in the Ortloff Engineers COE for senior technical leadership in cryogenic natural gas processing technologies. You will oversee engineering execution, startup, and performance testing from inception to startup across global projects.

You will mentor engineers, refine design practices, and apply UniSim simulations to guide decisions. Domestic and international travel up to 20% is required to support detailed design and onsite startup.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 15+ years of process or process-design experience in natural gas processing.
• Experience supporting detailed engineering execution for licensed/complex projects.
• Hands-on plant startup and troubleshooting experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% annually, including abroad.

Responsabilidades

• Provide principal-level technical oversight for engineering execution, startup, and performance support of Ortloff cryogenic gas processing projects.
• Guide detailed design activities, including process simulations and PFDs, and review technical issues.
• Lead startup-readiness reviews and coordinate site/home-office engineering resources.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support design and startup activities (up to 20%).
• Mentor engineers and develop technical bench strength across Ortloff technology family.
• Develop and improve reusable design practices, simulation tools, and startup checklists.
• Communicate technical risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
