Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. is seeking a Lead Chemical Engineer to drive development, innovation, and execution of Ortloff cryogenic gas processing technologies. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on design, testing, and optimization across the full project lifecycle.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule with a 100% onsite start period for up to 90 days. Travel is up to 20% as projects require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Chem/Process/Engineering).
• 6+ years of experience in chemical engineering.
• Strong leadership and technical expertise in chemical engineering principles.
• Ability to own, manage, and drive key initiatives & projects.
• Proficiency with process simulation software, UniSim.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Ortloff cryogenic gas processing technologies.
• Support design, development and implementation of licensed projects with senior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new projects and product improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure alignment with safety and compliance standards.
