Job summary
Honeywell International Inc. is seeking a Principal Chemical Engineer with an innovation focus in Houston, TX.
The role leads development and commercialization of Ortloff cryogenic gas processing technologies, guiding projects from inception to start-up and strengthening technical bench strength across the portfolio. The candidate will mentor junior engineers, drive technology differentiation, and collaborate with sales and business teams to pursue growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 15 years of process and/or process design engineering experience in natural gas processing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with NGL/LPG Recovery Turbo-Expander processing units.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight for development, innovation, commercialization, and project execution of Ortloff cryogenic gas processing technologies.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers while leading key projects and engineering plans.
- Provide leadership in technology innovation and issue resolution.
- Drive maintenance and improvement of engineering infrastructure and tools.
- Plan and communicate project technical requirements to leadership.
